Maintenance

The Fleet Maintenance Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of 25 Fire District vehicles. These vehicles range from small staff vehicles, rescue trucks, pumper trucks, and ladder trucks. Other items repaired and maintained by the fleet maintenance department include three station’s stand-by generators, all small engines, 100 pieces of saws, and lawn equipment. The Fleet Maintenance facility has 9 drive-through bays, a stationary 18,000-pound lift, 1 mobile column lift rated at 18,000 pounds each, 6 ton overhead crane, and 4 shop trucks for mobile repairs.4 large pieces of heavy equipment in aiding training and disasters. 1 Dump truck with trailer, along with a sign trailer, and six utility trailers. Fleet also has a full welding fab shop along with a small engine shop, and a large warehouse of tires and parts to keep vehicles up and running without extensive down time.
